The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Senegalese Douanes (1-1) in Dakar on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Nigerian Rivers Hoopers (2-0) 77-68. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Devine Eke (203-1996, college: Radford) fired a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Rwandan guard Adonis Filer (195-1993, college: FAU) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 4 assists. Obadiah Noel contributed with 24 points for the winners. American guard Chris Crawford (193-1992, college: Memphis) answered with 21 points and 7 assists for US Monastir. US Monastir's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory APR went down to second position due to points difference, which they share with Douanes. Defending Tunisian champion US Monastir still closes the standings with two games lost. APR will play against Douanes (#3) in Dakar in the next round, which may be the game of the day. US Monastir will play again against the league's second-placed APR and hopes to get finally their first victory.
An interesting game where Nigerian Rivers Hoopers (#2) beat host Rwandan APR (#1) 86-82 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It was a great evening for William Perry who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points. Rivers Hoopers' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side Obadiah Noel responded with 32 points and 7 rebounds. Defending Nigerian champion (2-0) keeps a position of league leader. Defending Rwandan champion APR dropped to the second place with one game lost. They share the position with Douanes. Rivers Hoopers will meet at home Douanes (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. APR will play against US Monastir and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 7 winless US Monastir was defeated by Douanes in Dakar 76-59.

Everything could happen in Dakar at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked Senegalese Douanes and 4th placed Tunisian US Monastir had identical 0-1 record. This time Douanes used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Monastir 76-59 on Sunday night. It was a great evening for Nigerien guard Harouna Abdoulaye (196-1992, college: Miami, OH) who led his team to a victory scoring 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists. South Sudanese-Australian forward Madut Akec (201-1999, college: Detroit) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side South Sudanese-Lebanese center Ater Majok (210-1987, college: UConn) responded with 6 points and 13 rebounds and Nigerian-American guard George A Williams II (198-1990, college: Wayland Baptist) scored 16 points. US Monastir's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Defending Senegalese champion (1-1) left bottom position moving up to second place, which they share with APR. Defending Tunisian champion US Monastir still closes the standings with two games lost. Douanes will meet league's leader Rivers Hoopers in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
